Pax Christi Award
Do you admire a parishioner’s faith and devotion? Let’s represent Hayward Cluster by nominating someone to be a candidate for the Pax Christi award. Applications are due by March 15th. This award has the endorsement of Bishop Powers, encompasses all parishes in the Diocese of Superior and is a way your parish community can recognize and honor the devout, hardworking Christian women within your parishes. Hayward cluster parishesIn August 2022, Fr. David became the Pastor of an additional three parishes. The former "Reserve Cluster" saw their pastor (Rev. Greg Hopefl) retire and now Fr. David will serve as Pastor in Hayward, Cable, New Post, Reserve, and Stone Lake. Fr. Karun - an international priest from India - is new to the USA and will be the Associate Pastor of our cluster. When things settle in, Fr. Karun will live in Reserve, office out of St. Joe's, and handle the majority of the liturgies for New Post, Reserve, and Stone Lake.
In time, St. Joseph Parish will serve as the main cluster offices. Thank you for your patience as we navigate and grow into this new reality of shepherding five unique parishes. Please keep praying for Diocesan Religious Vocations as it was not that long ago in history when each church had one or more priests living in residence and caring only for that parish!
