Scholarhships
Casimir Tyminski was a member of St Joseph Parish, and upon passing away, left the relatively new Hayward Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Kalandyke Council 6587, a sizable fund for charitable works. His commitment to this community was commendable and we are honored to adminisiter gift.
With Tyminski's gift, the council committed to build and fund Scholarships for higher education for members from our parishes.
The Casimir Tyminski Scholarships are being offered by the Knights of Columbus for students from each of the Hayward Area Catholic Churches including St. Josephs, St. Ann’s, St. Francis Solanus, St. Ignatius, and St. Phillips parishes. All students who have successfully completed high school, have earned a diploma and have been accepted at a post-secondary education trade school, community college or four-year university are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
